Post-play naptime

It's just not right to have a posting without a picture of the girls.

Here's one of the many communal naps that occur after a vigorous romp around the living room.

Jacob, the Nephew part deux

Here's Jacob (we also call him Jake), Preparing for another adventure as "Mr. Cool".

He really isn't this twisted but he does keep us amused.

This is my nephew, Jacob.
He's up from Florida for a week or so.

I guess things are a little different in Florida.

He's what we like to call fashion-challenged......

But we love him anyway.

Uncle Bernie, Dave and Ani

Uncle Bernie and Dave have been having some great conversations. Here, they're having a chuckle or two while Ani enjoys the company (and the new bed).

Ani has been especially close to Sue's Dad lately.
Today she was desperate to be with him so I put her up with him and after some cuddle time, she took a nap at his feet.

Josh's arrival from his room is an event. The Pup's look forward to seeing him but he is always leary of their teeth and his bare feet.
You might notice that Josh doesn't have my excess forhead. Of course, I had long hair as a teenager as well.

A slow waker-upper

Dachshunds are especially slow risers. Here, Lily demonstrates that trait by nodding off with her butt still in her bed.
