The Gang at the Gramster's for Christmas eve 08

Christmas eve at Grammy's.... save the paper !

A Dogs Christmas

Grammy-dog bought the girls squeaky toys for Christmas. Ani had her squeaker out 3 minutes and Lily's lasted 24 minutes. They then proceeded to utterly destroy them. These are pictures of the process....

My Christmas Quilt

I've been busting Sue's chops about finishing this quilt for me for a while. It's called a T-shirt quilt and it's a virtual history of my world travels. Blow up the picture and see how many Countries, Bars, etc that you can spot. It's way cool and I love it........

Always end each session with a cute girl-dog picture

Christmas ornaments

Here are a couple of my favorite ornaments. I'm a HUGE fan of the Hallmark train series but I've got the whole collection (so far) so if you want to see them, just go the the Hallmark website.

Patiently waiting

Toes- the expose

This may look like a scene from a Freddy Kreuger movie but in reality it's how one knits a sock. Those are Sue's toes as she gets her own first pair.

The "Eye's" have it.

Here's a couple of new dog pictures for fans of the girls.

Family History

I came across a couple of pictures of my Dad (William A. Kight )and his Dad (Alec Kight). Both a from the early 1940's. The one with my Grandfather alone was taken on their farm in Nu Mine, a town (?) in central Pennsylvania's coal mining region. The one of them together is my Dad just before going to the Pacific (as a Marine Avaition Ordnanceman).

My Girls

Here are two recent pictures of my girls in all their glory.

Looking for re-leaf ?

Here's a brief compilation of me trying to keep up with the bounty of one lone tree in the side yard.

Snack time

My Girls just love a freshly loaded dishwasher. It's what we in the military use to refer to as a "Target rich environment".

Hell Week - The inside story

A word of explanation.
We refer to the period starting on Nov 21 and ending on Nov 29 as "Hell Week" due to the amount of Birthdays, Anniversaries, and Holidays that are encompassed in that period. In that time frame are : Josh's, Linda's and Granna's birthday (same day), our Anniversary, Thanksgiving, Amirah and Dad's birthday (same day) , Sue's folks Anniversary, and Jason's birthday. After all that, Christmas and New Years are easy ! The pill collection for our Anniversary was because my lovely Bride threw out her back, had a sinus infection and ultimately a killer migraine. She took "Hell Week" quite seriously this year.
