Livable Delaware

This is the old view from my backyard (on the left). The photo below is the new view. Hopefully the lush brush will return to obscure the results of this stupidity.

I would normally never make a political statement here but as you can see, our Governer , Levy Courts and of course, our beloved Mayor and City Planner have decided that Delaware needs more people and houses.
The carnage that you can see beyond what's left of a "protected wetland" is the result.
We wish only the best for our refugee-from-New Jersey new neighbors that will inhabit the overpriced, poorly built townhouses that will occupy these farm fields.

Our new favorite "Lily picture"

The View from Dog seat.........

My little car-hounds

On a recent trip, Lily found her car seat not quite to her liking. She naturally migrated to Ani's and struck her best road-kill pose.

Together.....again

The girls are so happy to be back together, we humans just don't fill their doggy needs !

Ani home from the hospital(s)

My girl came home on Friday after a harrowing 24 hour episode. Who would've thought that a couple of licks could cause such a situation. We all missed her terribly, especially Lily !

Anti-Freeze antidote

Our Girl Ani, ingested some anti-freeze during a walk (by simply licking the street). We came way too close to losing her as the stuff is incredibly deadly.
This little bottle of antidote cost $535 alone. We ended up throwing away most of the bottle ! I asked for the container as an expensive piece of memorabilia.
By the way, the whole episode ran $1156.50.
It was money well spent................................
