Just a walk in park (or yard)

A flying Dachshund ?

Lily's airborne antics are rarely caught on film but she is always entertaining.

Game on.....

A game of chase the ball is always fun. They don't seem to get the bringing it back to the pitcher part but they've got the chasing it down part.

Then there's the tackle the ball-holder part.....

A Dachshund mohawk ?

Our breeder (Sandy) would have a fit if she saw
Ani in this condition but we're gradually
learning to groom her.

A break in the weather

We've has some great weather days this November so the Girls have had some quality yard time.

Lily is an outdoor kind-of-girl but Ani needs some coaxing

and finally...

Last but not least, the mandatory group shot with George. It was a great trip !

Sue's Florida chair

George bought this rocker-recliner for our visit. If Sue could've gotten it through security, it probably would've come home with us.

The Boss at his work-station

George doing his on-line coorespondence, (or reading jokes from his Sister Margie).

Mr. Riechert's train layout

Sorry, I had to Add a picture from the Train layout next door. These guys are loving life !

Next door

George even managed to find a model railroad to show me. It just happened to be next door. Now this a something I can sink me teeth into. Now if they only allowed dogs.............

Leesburg living

This is the view down the main thoroughfare in G.E.'s community. It's very quiet and peaceful (must be a Florida thing). No kids, dogs or people under 55.
And EVERYBODY has a golf cart !

Using the old self-portrait mode

We did a lot of walking in George's community. While it was cool by their standards, we enjoyed the 70 degree temps. This is at the marina near the clubhouse. Note the beautiful skys. I couldn't find any Gator's , though.

G.E. in Florida

Sue and I took a trip to Florida to see our good friend George.
Here's George (on the right) with his brother , Paul. We had a great time seeing George (it's been a couple of years) and spending some time together. I got to swap a lot of old railroading stories as well as doing a little Barbershop singing with him and some of his neighbors.
George also took us out to a GREAT seafood place where I gorged myself on the best Catfish and hushpuppies I've ever eaten !
It was good to spend time with G.E........
