Happy New Year

Well, the World continues. I go back to work tomorrow after a 29 day convalesence. I'm ready but ......... It will take a week or so to get back on my crazy schedule. Everything for a reason, that's what I live by . Maybe this really is about putting my better half at ease in her own home, letting Lily live without fear so she can be a happy dog , and stop my Princess from suffering . Sounds reasonable here in the daylight . She was just a little 14 lb Wheaton, miniature Wire-haired Dachshund, right ?

God, how I will miss this face....

I have lost someone very special......

I sincerely hate to post this, but We have lost our battle. My Princess left us on December 27th. I have never cried so long and so hard in my entire life . We still have our Lily and will do our very best to give Her a long, healthy, happy life.
The Good Lord gave Us a year with Her that we probably shouldn't have gotten, and for that We are VERY grateful........

Still watching and waiting

My Princess is not out of the woods yet but progress continues after her back injury. It will be a long recovery and we're scared to death of causing her a setback. We were soooo close to putting her down, .......... I hope we don't have to re-live that again.............
